I had the great pleasure to meet and assist Walter Cronkite a number of times while at CBS Radio. Walter would use our studios to record his voice over narration of now historical documentaries. Here is the great newscaster and reporter speaking about July 20, 1969..enjoy!

USA SPENDING.GOV is UNVEILED
The site's own tagline says it all, "A journey towards greater Transparency and Accountability. Analyze and Evaluate a portfolio of over 7000 Information Technology investments." Basically it gives the general public oversight at a granular level of the key bits of federal IT spending. The front page has some neat summary information, essentially headline figures, that set out the proportionate spend so far this year. http://it.usaspending.gov/ Whatcha think?
